Longtime friends Yan and Lolo are planning a weekend to reconnect, following Lolo’s gender transition and Yan’s marital separation; Lolo and Yan unearth buried feelings and choose which relationships to fight for and which have run out of road.

Danielle Gallo (Lolo) Previous credits include: The Merry Wives of Windsor and Love's Labor's Lost at the Folger Shakespeare Theatre; Spy Academy at Imagination Stage; Romeo and Juliet at Chesapeake Shakespeare Co.; She Kills Monsters, Waiting for Iggy Pop at Rorschach Theatre; The Whole Shebang at Prologue Theatre; Enron at 4615 Theatre Co.; Ada and the Engine at Silver Spring Stage; and Thanksgiving at Macbeth’s at Annexus Theatre. Danielle is a graduate of American University (class of 2019) and holds BAs in Theatre and International Relations. Martin Thompson (Dave) is a playwright/performer living in Baltimore, MD. Acting credits include: Beyond Zero, A Christmas Carol, The Matchmaker, Shakespeare's R&J, Two Rooms, Mr. Marmalade, the Seagull. He graduated from UMD, College Park with a BA in theatre and performance.

Dane Valerio (Max) is a Chicago-based Mexican-American actor and filmmaker originally from Texas. Recently they appeared in the Showtime original show Work in Progress along with the 2019 film Bleed American. They attribute a large part of his artistry to their indigenous heritage and queer identity.

Maddox Pennington (playwright) is a nonbinary writer, professor, and stand-up comic from Washington D.C and the Cherokee Nation.; they received an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Columbia University, and their debut bibliomemoir, A Girl Walks Into a Book: What the Brontes Taught Me About Life, Love, and Women’s Work was published by Hachette Books in 2017. When they’re not teaching college and creative writing, or quarantining, you could find them performing comedy all over DC, including the DC Drafthouse, Joe’s Movement Emporium, DC LGBTQ Comedy Fest, and almost every Busboys and Poets back room. Their play, Love Chicken, was a semifinalist in The Full Circle Players inaugural New Work Festival in Riverside, California in March 2021.
