Show Creator(s): Show Creator: Erin Gruodis-Gimbel Company Bios: Jacob Henkoff (God)- Jacob is thrilled to be returning to the stage after a seven-year hiatus in which he did other things, like have a baby and watch Emmy-winning TV show "The Good Wife" in its entirety in a single month. Some of his favorite roles include Barnette Lloyd in "Crimes of the Heart" and Alfred P. Doolittle in "My Fair Lady," both performed as an undergraduate at Gettysburg College. He may have only minored in Theatre Arts there, but definitely majored in "spending all of his time in the theater anyway." Jacob has an MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School, and although he has yet to frame the diploma, it still counts. Many thanks to brave director Wes Jackson for pulling him back into the game. Patrick Lopez (Abraham)- Patrick is confused and mildly itchy in this production of Abraham and God Play Ping-Pong. Nonetheless, he is very excited to again be working with Director Wes Jackson. He is equally as excited to work with Jacob and the bloodthirsty team of stage managers assembled for this production. Patrick has preciously played Alex in Seawall, Col Brandon in Sense and Sensibility, and Creon in Antigone Now. Weston Jackson (Director)- Weston Jackson is a 2014 graduate of Gettysburg College where he earned degrees in Theater Arts and Philosophy. Since graduation, he has worked at the Majestic Theater Totem Pole Playhouse, Spring Grove High School, the Appell Center for the Performing Arts, and William Penn Senior High School. He has continued the Gettysburg tradition of taking on multiple interests into his theater career: taking on teaching, directing, writing, acting, production management, stage management, lighting design and technical direction. Recent directing credits include: Antigone Now by Melissa Cooper, by The Dining Room by A.R. Gurney, Middetown by Will Eno, Far Away by Caryl Churchill. Technical direction credits include: Pippin, The Wizard of Oz, Our Town, Oklahoma!, The Secret Garden. Erin Gruodis-Gimbel (Author)- Erin Gruodis-Gimbel is an award winning playwright, dramaturg, and actor. She is currently pursuing her BA in Theater Arts at Drew University, although you would never guess it from the copious amount of time she spends cavorting in her backyard. God and Abraham Play Ping Pong is the recipient of the Robert Fisher Oxnam Award for Playwriting, and has been produced at Walking Shadow Readers Theater and Drew University in partnership with Ensemble Studio Theater, and can be seen in August at the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Her one act Baba Yaga and the Federal Trade Commission has been produced by No Exit Theater Collective, and is currently part of Walking Shadow Readers Theater’s One Act Festival. Her newest play, Tony Ricci Has Acid Reflux, will be produced at Drew University in October. If anyone has any suggestions for additional Old Testament stories she can defile, please contact with her at eringruodisgimbel@gmail.com.
